Carson Picketts is an amazing defender in soccer on NC courage ,sadly she does not have her left arm. I saw her in Horton Hall at Durham Academy Middle School on Friday September 23rd.

I saw her because of DA’s amazing librarian  Ms.Longee. I was surprised that she was a defender because I thought it would be really hard to throw the ball in with half an arm and a full arm.

I was also surprised that she had gotten a hand ball with her left hand but she doesn’t even have one. I learned that Carson has one goal.
